Who we are

About us image

Tabeer Foundation for Change is a non-profit organization registered in Pakistan under Section 42 of the Companies Act, SECP. The foundation is committed to fostering socio-economic development through poverty alleviation initiatives aimed at empowering underserved communities.

Recognizing that 38% of Pakistan’s workforce is engaged in the rural economy, Tabeer Foundation focuses on uplifting rural livelihoods by promoting sustainable economic practices in agriculture, livestock, cottage industries, and rural enterprises. Through innovative programs and strategic partnerships, the foundation aims to reduce poverty, create employment opportunities, and ensure inclusive growth in Pakistan’s rural areas.

Our Work

Tabeer evolved as an organic entity through a process of action research.

FREE RASHAN PROGRAM

The Free Rashan Program is one of Tabeer Foundation’s core humanitarian initiatives, designed to combat food insecurity among vulnerable and low-income households, particularly in rural and underserved areas. This program aims to provide essential food supplies to families facing economic hardship, helping them meet their basic nutritional needs with dignity and consistency.

E-ROZGAAR

The Skill Development Program by Tabeer Foundation is a transformative initiative focused on empowering rural youth and women through hands-on vocational training. By offering practical instruction in areas such as handicrafts, stitching, modern farming techniques, and essential IT skills, the program equips participants with the tools they need to thrive in today’s economy.

Free Eye camp

Our Free Eye Camps initiative is a vital outreach program dedicated to serving underprivileged and rural communities with limited access to eye care services. Through these camps, we offer comprehensive ophthalmic care—including free eye examinations, medical consultations, treatments, essential medications, and prescription eyeglasses—to individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford or access such services.

Interest Free Loan

At Tabeer Foundation, our Interest-Free Loan Program serves as a cornerstone initiative to foster financial empowerment and break the cycle of poverty in underserved rural communities. Through this program, we offer interest-free microloans to individuals who lack access to traditional banking and credit systems. These funds enable beneficiaries to launch small enterprises, enhance agricultural practices, or invest in self-employment opportunities—paving the way for financial independence and long-term sustainability.

Free Cloth Program

The Free Cloth Program is a vital humanitarian effort by Tabeer Foundation, aimed at supporting underprivileged individuals and families by providing them with essential seasonal clothing. Focused especially on remote and rural communities, the program distributes weather-appropriate garments—including warm clothes in winter and lightweight attire in summer—to those who lack the means to purchase adequate clothing.
